One dark and snow-stormy night in 1996, four players met in a quiet stone church, Chalmers United Church. There was a single microphone at the back of the sanctuary. Setting up, they decided to record each piece with one take, to capture what is most important to the group-the soul and spirit of live music. They called the album “AllegraLive” and below are some of their choices.
